京都高島屋個展 – 薩摩焼 十五代 沈壽官 展

2025年11月、京都髙島屋 にて開催された個展
「薩摩焼 十五代 沈壽官 展」 のイベントコミュニケーションデザインを担当しました。
世界を魅了してきた薩摩焼の美しさを、従来の表現にとどまらず、どのように現代的に引き出せるかをテーマに思案しました。 本展では、タイポグラフィーの再構築や図録の形状デザインなどにアプローチし、よりアート性の高い表現を取り入れたデザインに仕上げています。
この経験を通して、伝統を受け継ぐだけでなく、次の時代へとつながる表現の方向性が、少しずつ浮かび上がってきたように感じています。

In November 2025, I was responsible for the event communication design for the solo exhibition
“Satsuma Ware: 15th Generation Chin Jukan”, held at Kyoto Takashimaya.
The project explored how the beauty of Satsuma ware—an art form that has captivated audiences around the world—could be reinterpreted in a more contemporary way, rather than relying solely on traditional modes of expression.
For this exhibition, I incorporated a more artistic approach through the reconstruction of typography and the physical design of the exhibition catalogue.
Through this experience, I began to sense a new direction for expression—one that does not merely preserve tradition, but gently connects it to the next generation and the future of visual culture.
